Some people do have an itchy sensation in thier legs or feet after using the machine. That is good thing, as the sensation is caused from increased blood flow in the small viens and capillaries.
I am very intrested but I used a vibrating belt 30 years ago and hated it as it made me so itchy! So can anyone let me know if being itchy is a sideaffect of using the Vibrating machine.
These machines have just been bought into our country. People with high blood pressure, some partial stroke victims, diabetics and those with various body aches and pains have been seeing vast improvements in the quality of their lives after going on these machines daily.. Its a big hit and it really does work!
it says that it works all of the muscles of the body simultaneously… does it work shoulders? traps? neck muscles? i dunno really anything about this but it seems like its more lower half of your body… i dunno tell me if im wrong
no i have one it really does work…. lose weight hmm no but tone definately trust im the laziest person in the world and everybody notices i dont listen to infomercial bs either but i saw this at the gym had i seen it on tv wouldnt have got it
I know that athletes use these things here and there but ONLY as a supplement to actual cardio and resistance training.
remember Excercise Belt Machine
it’s like saying that “see athletes use ice baths and look at the shape they are in”
one does not necessarily correlate with the other.
Some workout supplements that DO work:

To me it really only boils down to an unproven technology which is being given more hype than it deserves. Does it have a benefeit? yes. Is that benefeit worth an 80 dollar a month membership (WBV only, no gym) or a 15,000 dollar one time payment? no. The reason I feel strongly about this is that I believe many “fitness professionals” will sell outrageous claims to an uninformed public. You want to be healthy? Proper diet and regular exercise will do far more than WBV ever will.
medical research journals once told us that acupuncture does nothing, now your hard pressed to find a doctor who does not believe in it. you just can’t trust EVERYTHING you read. how much money does the medical community make promoting the benifits of wbv systems?
Do note that every thing works different, depnding on the person, for instance jogging might work REALLY well for 1 person, but will do absolutely nothing to another. I really enjoy vibra train and I think it people can only judge it once they’ve tried it and had a go. Like I said before, it will only work on some people.
Do rememebr that Vibra Train is not a excercise like jogging and etc, so it won’t do the same effect. it is more for muscle toning and building muscle. It helps your bones and it seems to make you stronger. I’ve been doing vibra train for a while now, and i’ve improved. I do not do any excercise other than horse riding once and week and vibra train, and so far i’ve lost 5+ kgs + lots of cm.
In the “fit and healthy” population vibrational therapy improves recovery time from hard workouts, increases muscles strength & flexiblity. Also moves lymph–a CRUCIAL factor in body health.
I understand that there is a perception that if you are already fit and healthy, there may not be a need to use these machines. However, the sports trainers of the Celtics, Patriots, Giants, Lance Armstrong and many others are using this equipment as a part of their regular training program. It appears that the frequency of the vibrations stimulates blood flow into the muscles and helps prevent injury during the high intensity training.
Moral of this story:
If you are fit and otherwise healthy, there is very little to gain from using these machines. Best benefeit is probably reducing recovery time from a hard workout.
If you have a compromised bone or joint system (arthritis, cystic fibrosis, elderly, osteoperosis) this machine is a godsend and will greatly improve mobility and independance.
You are absolutely right, unless you do push ups and the plank on the machine as I do.
