The Best Free Tools for Keyword Research

The Best Free Tools for Keyword ResearchLearning a bit more about free keyword tools can be very helpful for your keyword research. It’s amazing that these tools are accessible for anyone to play around with to find profitable keywords to focus on. In addition to finding how many searches there are for each keyword, you’re going to focus on a couple of other things as well. The best of the bunch — Google’s Adwords keyword tool! This is a very effective way to find keywords. You’ll discover how many searches there are for a given keyword each month. You can also get suggestions of other keywords you may want to focus on, based on terms Google sees as relevant. The human brain simply cannot come up with all these different combinations on its own, and Google makes it easy for you!Another tool you can use is the Word Tracker free tool. This pulls from a different database than Google’s, so you may want to check both of them to ensure that there are no large discrepancies. Remember — no matter how good a keyword tool is, it takes common sense to ensure it is accurate. Word Tracker gives you the searches per day, versus searches per month like Google. Keep this in mind when comparing the figures. After you have generated a list of keywords, it’s time to analyze them for competition and profitability. Type the keywords you are considering into Google search bar. Paid ads will likely appear on the right-hand side.If they do, the chances are good that money is being spent in the niche, and on that particular keyword. After all, if advertisers are advertising there, there is a reason! Also browse through different websites to see if there are products related to that niche. Doing a profitability search is a great way to ensure that you have a good chance of making money with a set of keywords.Next, it’s time to analyze your competition. Once again, the Google search engine is a great free tool that you can use. Simply type in the keyword you are focusing on into the Google search bar. What will appear are the webpages that contain that exact keyword or phrase. An advanced method is to do the “intitle” search (intitle:keyword). You can also do in “an anchor” search (inanchor:keyword) to see who is truly optimizing their websites for a particular keyword. This gives you a feel for who your real competition is, and how difficult it will be to beat them in the search engines. After you know that a keyword is highly searched, potentially profitable, and fairly easy to beat in the search engines, you know that is a good idea to go after it in either the free or paid listings! As you can probably tell, using these free methods can be very time consuming. There are paid tools that can literally save you hours per day! It’s well worth looking into these, if you’re serious about your marketing.Get the best keyword research tools which are readily available.

4 Powerful Ways to do Market Research and Uncover a Profitable Niche for Free -original article writers

4 Powerful Ways to do Market Research and Uncover a Profitable Niche for Free -original article writers

Aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners are often misled or misguided on the topic of how to properly conduct market research that uncovers a profitable niche.

The path most unsuspecting entrepreneurs take is by ending up at keyword tool or database to begin their search.

Great 1st Impressions = Great ROI. The Best Landing Pages Start Here http://www.ConversionLandingPages.com

As a keyword research expert and founder of one of the leading keyword research services on the internet, I can say with firsthand experience that keyword databases are not the first place to look nor should be even considered.  Here’s why.

The primary keyword databases that are currently available to the general public only give search counts on a limited amount of data that accounts for 1% – 2% of the actual searches people do around the entire world.  They can only predict (emphasis added) the real majority of searches that are being done on the big five search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo, AOL and Ask.com which hold 97%-98% of the keyword data.

Most importantly, keyword research only shows what keyword phrases people are using in the search engines to search for answers, not what people actually buy on the internet.  Just because a group of people search for specific terms or brand names does not mean that’s what they purchase.  That’s a key distinction many entrepreneurs and business owners tend to gloss over.

When looking for a profitable niche marketplace, your primary focus should be looking for proof of a group of hungry and rabid buyers that want to exchange their money for a service or product (information, physical or digital).  Without this crucial qualifier, you may have the greatest product in the world, but you may be lacking a market to sell it to.

This article will present a number of great sources to look at which will give you a running start to uncover a truly, profitable marketplace exists before you go for the gold and put all your resources into a website, product creation or expenditures toward some sort of online property.

Once you establish that you have located a market that contains signs of adequate commerce moving through it, you then have a worthy reason to look further into a keyword research service to find out what keyword phrases people use to find the market you have chosen.

One of the things you’ll want to focus in on is the number of subscribers each magazine has and how long the magazine has been in print for stability purposes.

Make a list of magazines you want to look into and then go hunting for them at one of those large dedicated newsstands that covers just about every magazine on every topic.

Free Keyword research tools ? are they worth it?

There are a great number of keyword and niche research tools on the market today and they vary in both price and effectiveness. In this article I want to take a look at three tools which are either fr5ee or offer a free trial.

The first and possibly most popular is the Google Keyword Tool which can be easily accessed by typing “keyword tool” into the Google search engine. You will have to key in a series of letters to show you are actually a human and you are then taken straight to the keyword search tool. You have the option of enter an exact, broad word or phrase into a box and after pressing “search “the  tool will then supply a selection of relevant keywords. There is also a guide to the competition for that word, Global and local searches and local search trends. It is a useful tool for initial keyword research.

The second is the service Wordtracker offers a free 7 day trial. Wordtracker has been around for a long time and provides a comprehensive keyword search facility. The basic trial is a restricted service and you are limited to the number of keywords can be generated. However, when you sign up for the 7 day trial there are a couple of useful bonuses such as an ebook and videos explaining how to use keywords. The full service also offers link building and  Strategizer  tools.

The final service is Market Samurai which is the newest of the three tools. It has been on the market now for about 18 months.

The complete program offers much more than just keyword research. Other features include rank tracking, competition analysis, content provision and site promotion. However, the trial version which can be accessed for free is basically their keyword research tool. This possibly contains more information offering details of SEO factors but also Adword traffic ands commerciality.

The advantage of Google Keyword tool is that it is totally free and can be used at any time. Wordtrackers trial only lasts for 7 days  and you must remember to cancel before the end of the 7 days if you do not want to automatically go onto their paid list. Market Samurai does not seem to have any limit on its trial but is obviously designed to attract you to its full service.

Which of the 3 tools you choose will really depend on how serious you are about keyword research . If you are serious about optimising your web site for traffic you may find that you will have to go beyond a free service. However they can be a very good starting point.
